Genesis Honey Co was founded by siblings Mishelle Chand and Steven Chand, whose journey began in the Fiji Islands, where they developed a deep appreciation for nature and the vital role of pollinators.
In 2013, the siblings moved to New Zealand, serving communities across New Zealand and the South Pacific. We fell in love with this land — its pristine landscapes and the extraordinary care that goes into producing genuine Mānuka honey.
After COVID, we discovered the remarkable properties of New Zealand Mānuka honey as a bioactive superfood. Our mission became clear: to share the world's most potent, pure, and sustainably harvested Mānuka honey with those who demand nothing but the best.
We structured Genesis Honey Co as two complementary entities: Genesis Honey Co New Zealand handles sourcing and quality control, working directly with trusted beekeepers, while Genesis Honey Co Pty Limited in Sydney manages international distribution — ensuring every batch is the highest quality and that you're getting the real deal.
At our core, we remain a family business built on values from our Pacific Island roots: respect for nature, commitment to quality, and genuine care for community.
