What Makes Mānuka Different
Mānuka honey is prized worldwide for its rarity, distinctive flavour and naturally high concentration of methylglyoxal (MGO). Harvested from remote New Zealand landscapes, ours is single-origin, traceable and independently graded.
MGO occurs naturally only in significant quantities in mānuka honey, and is the marker our potency grade is built on. The higher the number, the rarer and more concentrated the honey.
Crafted
By The Bees
Methylglyoxal (MGO) is concentrated in mānuka honey through the bees' own alchemy — nectar carefully refined and slowly thickened in the hive into the dense, amber honey we bottle.
Enjoy it straight from the spoon, stirred through warm (not hot) water with lemon, or layered onto sourdough. Avoid boiling — gentle warmth preserves the honey's character.
Bless
Those Bees
A single 250g jar of premium Mānuka honey represents the extraordinary collective effort of over 500 bees, making more than 550,000 flower visits to the Mānuka tree (Leptospermum scoparium).
These precious blooms flourish for just 4–6 weeks during New Zealand's summer months in pristine, remote landscapes — making genuine Mānuka honey one of nature's rarest treasures.
