We don't ask you to take our word for anything. Every statement on our label is a fact you can check — the grade, the test, the certification and the batch.
Sourcing
Our Mānuka honey is single-origin New Zealand honey. Each batch comes from an identified harvest — not a blend of regions or seasons — and is handled in small batches from hive to jar.
Testing
Every batch is tested by Hill Laboratories, an independent New Zealand laboratory. Testing measures methylglyoxal (MGO) content in mg/kg — the number behind the grade on the label. Our current MGO 700+ product was tested at MGO 700+.
Certification
We are MPI export certified (New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries, Exporter ID AEX000242), and our honey is packed under a registered Risk Management Programme (RMP) — the food safety regime New Zealand requires of honey exporters.
Traceability
Every jar is printed with a batch trace URL. Enter it in your browser to see that
batch's harvest date, MGO test result, origin and packing details. The code is on
the base of your jar and looks like ghc-2504-jm-d7b2-816.
